I hold an Amateur Extra class license and operate as AG4SR. My favorite corner of the hobby is APRS — tracking, digipeating, and the general novelty of packets quietly hopping across a map. Between work and everything else, radio time comes in bursts these days, but the station's still up and the interest hasn't gone anywhere.
A beacon from this station looks roughly like this. Real activity has been light lately, but the setup is ready to key up again as soon as there's a free weekend.
